Mediation & Facilitation

At Create A Sense of Place, we believe that every person should have access to someone that is independent to provide support or guidance, or to help navigate a challenging or difficult situation.

We understand that when worlds come together, it can bring with it complexities that often require a neutral person to navigate and work with everyone to achieve group agreements, or simply, a path forward.

Our Chief Visionary Officer, Brigette Kirkpatrick, became an accredited mediator with the vision to provide this support.

Brigette and her team have first-hand experience working with individuals and organisations to facilitate in a safe environment with the purpose of:

  • Creating harmonious relationships
  • Setting Expectations
  • Identifying Issues
  • Making Action Plans
  • Assigning Responsibilities
  • Developing Group Agreements that encompass everyone’s needs
This support can be extremely useful for the following types of relationships:
SDA Landlords:
  • Are you having difficulties maintaining tenants and finding it challenging to negotiate tenancy agreements?
  • Are the people living in a shared space not getting along?
  • Or are you having trouble developing sets of group rules/agreements that suit all parties?
Organisations and their Workforce:
  • Is your organisation having challenges with team members, team culture and morale?
  • Organisations and the People they Support:
  • Is your organisation receiving complaints/feedback from the people you support? Are there specific challenges that you are having, or having trouble navigating?
People that live/work/learn/socialise in Shared Environments:
This can include Supported Independent Living (SIL), Residential Aged Care, Out of Home Group Homes, Rehabilitation Centres or transitioning out of these places:
  • Are you finding it challenging to navigate and meet everyone’s unique and individual needs within a group environment?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, chances are that having someone to facilitate some of these challenging situations could have achieved positive outcomes.
At Create A Sense of Place, we understand that being able to have access to an independent person that can facilitate group discussions and navigate complex conversations with the aim to achieve group solutions can have so many benefits for everyone involved.
