Support Coordination Mentoring & Training
Support Coordination Mentoring
Are you a Support Coordinator and often feeling burnt out and alone? Do you feel like you are running in a hamster wheel, going so fast but not feeling like you are getting anywhere?
We hear you, we feel you and you are not alone.
Our Mentoring Program can provide you with the opportunity to debrief, and get guidance and strategies to support you in your daily work. We can support you to assess your capacity, deal with complex situations and structure your day/week/month to ensure you stay organised and focused, working with the beautiful chaos rather than against it.
- 1:1 hourly sessions are $100 per session
- Group Mentoring for 3 or more people are $80 per person
- 10% discount offered to organisations that refer 3 or more people for individual mentoring
About our Mentors
Our mentors are experienced Support Coordinators that have been providing Support Coordination for a minimum of three years, as well as providing direct mentoring to our CASoP Team. Training for Support Coordinators
Did you know our Founder Brigette has been providing Support Coordination since the trials began in 2013? Create A Sense of Place was then started and has been providing independent Support Coordination for over six years. CASoP started with our founder, and we now have a growing team.
Our quality of service has also grown, and evolved. We have developed and refined our practise to ensure that we are always learning and being the best that we can be.
Brigette’s motto is “We don’t want to be the biggest, we just want to be the best at what we do”.
With this extensive experience comes an absolute wealth of knowledge. So we have decided to use our knowledge to provide training to our fellow Support Coordinators. We have all different types of training available which includes areas such as:
- Housing
- Supporting Transitions (Aged Care, Justice System, Institutions, Hospital and more)
- Applying legislation to funding decisions
- Burnout
- Professional Boundaries
- Self Assessing Capacity
- The Planning Cycle
- Working Collaboratively
- Values and working with conflicting values
- Inclusion
- Appropriate Language
- Report Writing
- Excellence in Service Provision
