Wendy is a Social Educator who readily offers a listening ear and takes the time to understand the situation, challenges and strengths of the person she’s working with.
She feels tremendous reward in supporting participants move towards their goals in the way they want to and seeing the positive impact this can have in a person’s overall well being. Wendy also looks for opportunities to work with a Participant’s family or wider support network in order to underpin supportive relationships for the participant.
With qualifications and a background in case management in the employment services sector, along with managing a service providing social supports for people living with a disability, and frail aged people living in the community, Wendy brings vast experience and knowledge to this role.
Wendy is your ideal Social Educator if you’re looking for someone who truly cares about everyone she’s working with including family and other supports. She values choice and control being at the centre of the process and looks for opportunities to draw out strengths.
