Welcome to
Create A Sense of Place

We know how challenging it can be to navigate the NDIS, and understand an NDIS plan.

Create A Sense of Place is a registered NDIS Organisation, and certified by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission to provide services throughout Australia.

Our team are NDIS experts, and we have developed a Code of Practice which we adhere to, and is reflected in all aspects of our work.

Create A Sense of Place focuses on providing completely 100% Independent Coordination of Supports, Specialist Coordination of Supports, Counselling and Positive Behaviour Support. You can learn more about our services here.

Create A Sense of Place acknowledges and pays respect to the ancestors, Elders and descendants of the Lands upon which we live and work.  We are mindful that these Lands always were and always will be Aboriginal Land.

Why are we different?

Our team are honest, reliable, knowledgeable, friendly, and we act with integrity. Working with us, you will feel safe in knowing that we are working with you and for you, and that we will use your funding appropriately. We only claim for the services that we have provided, not just use your funding because it is there.

We pride ourselves on using a therapeutic and capacity building approach, and working together we measure outcomes, reach goals, and get through your NDIS journey together.

Many of our team have a lived disability experience, and are passionate about ensuring the people we support are living the life they choose.

Conflict of Interest

Conflict of interest is a massive issue in the NDIS space. This is where an NDIS provider, whether that be a sole trader, or company, or any eligible type, provides more than one service in a person’s NDIS plan.
As a registered NDIS provider, we have an obligation to ensure the people we support are making informed decisions about the supports they receive, and are able to exercise true choice and control.

Providers are obliged under the Terms of Business, which is signed and submitted to the NDIA, to not provide services to a participant where there is a conflict of interest, unless this conflict can be managed, and is upheld by policies and procedures.
You can read more about Conflict of Interests in our blog here.

At Create A Sense of Place, we understand and know how life changing it can be for someone when they have the right supports in place. It is not a one size fits all, and we rarely see one organisation who does everything well. The beauty of the NDIS is that you are no longer restricted to one organisation. You can have all your supports in different organisations, and if you have a fabulous Support Coordinator, they will help you manage this.

We have found our niche, and we are experts in our field. We don’t need to be everything to everyone, we just want to be the best at what we do, not the biggest.
