We first met Emma Yeark, our support coordinator, who went above and beyond to make a real difference in the children’s lives. When Emma moved into another role, we were sad—but then met Carrie, who jumped in to support us through a difficult time as our family was separating. Emma now works one-on-one with my daughter, and both she and Carrie have helped us navigate a really challenging period. I know we wouldn’t have come through it as well as we have without them. I have been the co carer of a developmentally delayed adult, who is also my cousin, for the last 20 years.
