Behaviour Support Practitioner & Counsellor
Emma is an AASW registered Social Worker with 8 years experience working with people living with disability, disadvantaged families, vulnerable youth and children in Out of Home Care.
Emma has also completed extensive training with the Institute of Applied Behavioural Analysis as well as completed courses in Person-Centred Behaviour Supports.
Emma has worked with NDIS participants of all ages and abilities with past experiences in Support Coordination and case management. Emma’s past experience of working as a Support Coordinator has allowed her to develop vast knowledge of the NDIS sector and processes.
Emma places high importance on assisting people to enhance their quality of life and is committed to improving the lives and wellbeing of the participants she works with. Emma enjoys approaching behaviour support in a strengths based approach, working with her participants and their support networks to identify each individual’s strengths and skill set to maximise potential for growth.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys keeping active, spending time with her two dogs, reading and adventuring with her family.
